The Child Resiliency Programme fosters the development of resilient attributes, pro-social behaviors and psychosocial support/ mental wellbeing in children referred from primary schools, parents and frontline workers in high violence-prone communities. It promotes Peace while facilitating protection against violence, abuse, neglect and trauma. nIn the past 10 years we have helped over 3,000 children and their families build resilience and peace .

Mission/Impact Statement

The building of resilience and peace by a process of integration of our schools, neighbouring churches, community organisations and police to increase literacy, offer pyschosocial support and mental well being in children and those adults who are responsible for children affected by Trauma

Current Needs

$1,200 U.S will offer psychosocial support and significantly reduce the risk of a child entering into a life of violence by participating in the CRP for 1 year (literacy support, life skills training, sports and creative activities, parent training, family counseling) and PRW training to front line workers who work with children affected by Trauma.
