Jamaica Special Olympics Foundation

Special Olympics Jamaica supports individuals with intellectual disabilities through structured sports programs that promote inclusion, personal growth, and community engagement. Athletes begin training and competing at the parish level, with athletes advancing to national competitions. From there, athletes have the chance to qualify for international events, proudly representing Jamaica on the world stage. A holistic approach not only develops athletic skills but also fosters confidence, leadership, and lifelong friendships. Over the past 10 years, Special Olympics Jamaica has supported over 500 athletes through sports, leadership, and global opportunities. From building confidence on the field to representing Jamaica internationally, our athlete like David Duncan, now Chair of the SONA Athlete Leadership Council, continue to inspire greatness.
