The School is a traditional church school that is situated on five acres of land that is owned by the Mount Olivet United Church of Jamaica. The school was established by the church in the year 1900. Mount Olivet is a farming community where subsistence farming is a major economic activity.

To improve safety and repair key infrastructure across its campus. The fencing of the school compound is a top priority, as the premises remain vulnerable to unauthorized access by strangers, animals, and intruders. Approximately US $5,450 is needed to complete the first 120 feet of fencing toward the main road. Additional needs include US $9,600 for full perimeter fencing, US $2,250 to replace windows in the staffroom and principal’s office, and US $32,000 to repair leaking classroom roofs.
