55 years ago Lacovia Junior Secondary School opened its doors on September 1, 1970. The School was built to accommodate 650 students in three basic grades 7, 8 and 9. Lacovia High School is co-educational high school catering to students from grades 7 to 13. The school operates on a shift system.

To host a retiree function, strengthen its academic programs, sports, and co-curricular activities, while also supporting students in need. US $2,500 will provide lunch money, bus fare, and uniforms for disadvantaged students; US$2,500 will help renovate the administrative block; US $2,500 will support the sports department; and US $2,500 will provide essential teaching materials.
