Blaqmango Consultants, founded in 2017 by art educators Katrina Coombs and Winston C. Campbell, emerged from a desire to increase participation in the Jamaican art scene among early and mid-career artists. Initially focused on supporting emerging talent through self-funded initiatives and partnerships, our work includes artist mentorship, career development, exhibitions, residencies, training, and art tours. Over time, we expanded to include mature artists seeking renewed visibility and fair opportunities. Our mission is to develop artists at all stages through exposure, documentation, and collaboration. We champion authentic creative expression and believe in growing together to energize and sustain the Jamaican visual arts landscape. Since 2017, Blaqmango has quietly sparked a movement, supporting 200+ artists, reaching thousands, and turning bold ideas into reality. We champion creative risk, cultural connection, and sustainability, reshaping the Jamaican art scene. We are building something special. Join Us!
