Mountainside Primary School caters for students aged 6 - 12 years. The school serves the farming community of Mountainside and some adjoining farming communities as well.

To renovate its Computer Lab and Library and to furnish the main administrative office with new desks, chairs, and desktop computers. Additional needs include US $2,500 for AC units and doors for the staffroom, US $600 for a standing refrigerator for the canteen, US $500 for a deep freezer for the tuck shop, US $800 for two filing cabinets for the Guidance Department, US $1,500 for canteen supplies to prepare hot lunches, US $700 for a filing cabinet, reading materials, and wall fans, and US $3,000 to enhance sporting facilities and equipment.
