Charlton Infant School is situated in the parish of St Ann nestled in the lush greenery of the Dry Harbour Mountain. It is a government funded institution catering to for students 3 years 8 months to 6 years. The present school was built around 1962 to accommodate 240 students, at the moment our population is 110, fifty eight girls and 52 boys.

To roof and enclose the quad-angle, transforming it into a multipurpose area for classes, etiquette sessions, sports events, and school ceremonies. This space will also help ease classroom overcrowding and provide relief from heat during the warmer school terms.

Charlton Infant School is the feeder school for Charlton Primary which feeds students to York Castle High, St Hilda's High. Knox College .
