Frankfield Primary & Infant School

The school was established in 1881 by the Methodist Church and presently serves students age 3 to 12 years. Many of the community members are farmers or day workers. The area has been heavily mined for bauxite and since the closer of one plant economic growth in the communities which feed the school has been significantly affected.

  To improve its kitchen facilities and teaching resources. US $2,000 will purchase a deep fryer; US $2,500 will provide a six-burner stove with oven; US $2,000 will purchase a cooler for weekly vegetable storage; and US $1,500 will provide an industrial pressure cooker and blender. Additionally, US $2,800 will fund an all-in-one photocopier and printer to support classroom activities and reduce recurring printing costs.
