The Harbour View Primary school is located at 31A Martello Drive in the community of Harbour View, Eastern Kingston. The school is one of sixteen (16) schools in the MOE's QEC 4 cluster and is deemed satisfactory by the NEI report rating. Most of the students attending the schools is from the surrounding communities including Bull Bay.

  • Use of Funds:

    To complete several key infrastructure projects, including the garbage receptacle and the Grade 1 and Grade 3 classroom blocks. Finishing the Grade 3 block will add two new classrooms to accommodate growing enrollment. Additional priorities include repairing the west section of the perimeter fence, which is in disrepair, and purchasing a six-burner industrial gas stove for the canteen to improve meal preparation efficiency.

Current Needs

The school currently needs to complete the Grade 3 block which will allow it to hold an additional 2 classrooms. The west bound section of the perimeter fence needs to be redone as it is in disrepair. The school canteen is in need of a new 6 burner industrial gas stove which will improve the time taken to prepare meals.

Awards/Honors

Our school continues to do well in the exit examinations. This year approximately 60% on Pathway 1, 30% pathway 2 and 10% pathway 3
