The PCD operates the East Street & Greater Portmore Junior Centres, and the Simon Bolivar Cultural Centre. Our primary cohort is children ages 6-17 years, and we engage youth and adults 18 years and over. We believe in impacting families and communities and aim to forge partnerships that encourage that aim.nSince 1940, we have helped to groom musicians, artists, artistes, business professionals, media practitioners, legal luminaries, financial gurus, and untold success stories from all walks of life.nTag Line: Unlocking Potential. We were recognized in 2016 for our facilitation of two (2) Interns from the National Youth Service's Empowerment Programme (Programme that placed intellectually differently abled participants for job experiences). Their presence helped to inform programmatic content and generated a new level of empathy within our team and the students that we served.
